2014 Celebrity Basketball Game
Event 7: Hengdian Celebrity Basketball Game
Time: May 22–May 24
Venue: Ming & Qing Palace Scenic Area
What can you do in an imperial palace besides listening to concerts? What?! Play basketball? From May 22 to 24, the Cross-Strait Celebrity Charity Basketball Game, initiated by renowned actor Peter Ho and Hengdian World Studios, will be held at the Ming & Qing Palace Scenic Area. The basketball carnival, featuring eight teams, will last for three full days, with the All-Star Exhibition Night as the highlight. Proceeds from the basketball games will go to charity.
Event 8: Anime Carnival
Time: May 30–June 1
Venue: Guangzhou Street & Hong Kong Street + Ming & Qing Palace Scenic Area + Dream Valley Children’s Dream Factory
Floating human performers, mysterious street close-up magic, parades of various cartoon characters, plus giant inflatables like the Moshi Monsters and Ultraman—during this vibrant spring season, Hengdian World Studios will become a paradise for children. The first-ever Hengdian Anime Carnival will kick off on May 30 and run through June 1.
