Beijing, April 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently,the first council meeting of HAMA China was held at the Sofitel Wanda Beijing. As one of the ten founding members of HAMA China, Bai Haibo, Chairman and CEO of HNA Hotels Group, was invited to attend the meeting and was honored to take on the role of Founding Council Member of HAMA China. At the meeting, the founding council members of HAMA China collectively discussed and reviewed the work plans and arrangements for HAMA China in 2015.

"HAMA" is the acronym for the Hospitality Asset Managers Association. Established in the United States in 1991, it is a professional organization composed of industry elites dedicated to enhancing asset value for hotel owners. The association has since grown to include over 200 professional hotel asset managers representing more than 3,500 hotels and resorts with a total of over 775,000 rooms in the U.S. It has also established chapters in Japan, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. The HAMA China chapter was officially founded on September 30, 2014, with Bai Haibo, Chairman of HNA Hotels Group, being one of the ten founding council members. He played a significant role in promoting the establishment of HAMA China and laid a solid foundation for its future sound development.
From March 31 to April 1, HAMA China held its official unveiling ceremony at the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the AHF Asia Hotel Forum Center. The International Exchange Chair of HAMA’s U.S. headquarters, along with the presidents of HAMA chapters in Europe, Japan, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, gathered in Shanghai to celebrate the birth of HAMA China, marking the official launch of the chapter. After the ceremony, international HAMA peers shared domestic and international asset management experiences and cases with HAMA China council members, offering insights and suggestions to better advance the development of HAMA China.
Bai Haibo, Chairman of HNA Hotels Group, will closely monitor the development of HAMA China and share internationally leading hotel asset management information and experience with domestic peers through the HAMA platform, thereby enhancing HAMA China’s influence on the global stage. In the future, HNA Hotels Group can also leverage the HAMA China platform to better integrate the association’s international resources, propelling HNA Hotels into a faster phase of global expansion and further increasing its global presence.
