The earthen cottages in the resort are all constructed with locally sourced natural building materials and built using advanced new sustainable construction technology — SIREWALL. Additionally, Naked Stables is the first resort in China to introduce the internationally advanced SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) technology into its treehouse villa architecture. Compared to traditional construction techniques, these two unique technologies both show excellent energy-saving performance, with energy savings reaching up to 40%. In 2013, Naked Stables also became the first resort hotel in China to be awarded the international LEED Platinum green building certification.
