The "Aqualine Historical Exhibition" themed "Spirit of Hong Kong: United We Stand" will kick off on April 21.
Hong Kong, April 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The iconic Hong Kong vessel "Aqualine," which was recently salvaged, is set to set sail again in mid-June. As part of the celebration, the "Aqualine" will collaborate with the One Cent for Love project to host the "Aqualine Historical Exhibition" at the outdoor plaza of Times Square in Causeway Bay from April 21 to May 11. Themed "Spirit of Hong Kong: United We Stand," the exhibition will showcase the legendary story of the "Aqualine" to the public.
The "Aqualine" is the only remaining three-masted antique Chinese junk in Hong Kong.
The "Aqualine Historical Exhibition" is the opening event of the One Cent for Love project's "Heart of Hong Kong: United We Stand" campaign.It is supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board,and co-organized by Times Square, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, and the Hong Kong Collectors' Society.The organizing parties hopeto use thehistory of the Aqualine”to tell the moving stories of Hong Kong people’s hard work and development in the past, evoking shared memories among locals,while also encouragingHong Kong people to continue striving with perseverance, upholding the spirit of mutual help, love, and indomitable determination.
