Shanghai, May 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently, Ctrip Business Travel, a leading corporate travel management company in China, announced a strategic partnership with the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), the world’s largest business travel association, to become the strategic partner for the “Business Travel Management Talent Training Program” in Mainland China.
Ctrip Business Travel Partners with GBTA to Launch Business Travel Management Talent Training Program
Given the rapid growth of China’s business travel industry and the increasing shortage of high-caliber professionals in the field, GBTA has launched the Business Travel Management Talent Training Program in China to meet this demand.
GBTA Executive Director Daphne Bryant stated that China is set to become the world’s largest business travel market. GBTA aims to provide comprehensive training support for business travel management education in the region—from foundational knowledge to hands-on execution. GBTA is honored to have a partner like Ctrip to jointly launch this program.
As the sole strategic TMC partner for the program in China, Ctrip Business Travel will contribute years of localized management service experience to infuse the curriculum with practical, real-world case studies.
“Ctrip Business Travel is honored to be a partner in the GBTA program. While continuously improving our own services, we also actively engage in market education through various channels to promote advanced business travel management concepts and cultivate awareness among Chinese enterprises. We believe that our strong collaboration with GBTA will play a significant role in advancing the development of China’s business travel management market,” said Fang Jiqin, CEO of Ctrip Business Travel.
Fudan University, serving as the academic supporter of the program, will assist in delivering all courses. The curriculum will be designed and planned jointly by GBTA, Ctrip Business Travel, and Fudan University, based on local needs.
The GBTA (Global Business Travel Association) is the world’s largest organization dedicated to business travel and meetings, headquartered in Washington, D.C., USA.
