Recently, looking south from Xiamen North Station for several hundred meters, a huge elliptical silver sphere shines brilliantly under the sunlight. What on earth could it be?
Filled with curiosity, I headed to the vicinity of Xiamen North Station and, following the giant orb, finally found it—400 meters south of the station, at the intersection of Tianshui Road and Haixiang Avenue—to witness the true form of the "big ball." Nestled among a cluster of buildings in the distinctive architectural style of Tan Kah Kee, along with its surrounding natural environment, the sphere forms a uniquely stunning sight. Upon inquiry, I learned that this is actually the main structure under construction at Xiamen’s Old Courtyard Scenic Area—the Shenyou Huaxia Grand Theater.
