Chongqing, May 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- With Children's Day around the corner, the increasingly popular low-cost airline brand -- West Air has come up with a unique idea. It’s launching a “How long are your legs?” challenge in Chongqing and Zhengzhou. Passengers who take part in the challenge can get a voucher to select extra-legroom seats on the plane.
Is it all about leg length? Funhouse mirrors summon self-confidence.
Can you get a wider plane seat just by saying you have long legs?On Children's Day, June 1,West Air will set up long-leg funhouse mirrors at airports in Chongqing and Zhengzhou. Passengers flying out of either city on a West Air flight that day can head to the activity area before check-in, look into the funhouse mirror, and confidently proclaim something like “I’m a leggy beauty/guy!” to receive a free West Air seat selection voucher. With this voucher, they can choose wider-legroom seats at the check-in counter based on actual availability. Note: Participation in this event does not guarantee boarding.
What are extra-legroom seats?
In June this year, West Air launched a custom product called BIGSEAT for passengers with special seating needs. This allows travelers to pay a small fee when checking in to select economy class first-row seats or exit row seats with more legroom, meeting the varied seat preferences of different customers. Below are the detailed features of West Air’s BIGSEAT product.
