Tujia.com, China’s largest vacation rental booking platform. By chance, I learned about and used their services. With travel plans already in place, I happened to catch the second phase of Tujia’s Summer Carnival—"Grab Millions in WeChat Red Packets." The platform offered discounted stays plus extra savings with red packets. The perks from Tujia were truly worthwhile. The budget-conscious editor (that’s me) jumped at the chance and even started a WeChat group to rally a bunch of buddies to help grab red packets. In the end, our group of introverted guys came up with some surprisingly creative ways to use Tujia’s platform...
Confession Edition:

Weekend gatherings, birthday parties—how have you celebrated them before? Ever thought about throwing a party at a villa this hot summer? From upscale villas and tent campsites to yachts, Tujia makes it all possible. Picture this: “Hey everyone, my birthday’s this weekend at XXX Villa—party starts at 7, don’t be late... LOL!” Candlelit dinners, swimwear parties, karaoke, dance-offs—you name it. It’ll definitely be a gathering your friends will never forget.
Home—a place where we can finally shed our masks, let go of our burdens, and feel warmth, safety, and comfort. It’s everyone’s sanctuary. Tujia is a platform that brings that same homely feeling to your travels. No matter where you are—on a business trip, vacation, or getaway—it gives you the warmth of home. Wherever you are, home is right by your side. Tujia offers a whole new way of living. Confessions don’t always have to be made under everyone’s gaze—nor does everyone have the courage for that. Cooking doesn’t have to happen at home; you can whip something up yourself while abroad to treat yourself. Hosting guests far from home doesn’t mean you have to splurge at fancy restaurants—homemade meals bring people closer. Even a small-budget birthday bash can have a luxurious vibe. Tujia opens up endless possibilities when it comes to accommodation: campervans, treehouses, yachts, bubble domes, courtyard homes, wooden cabins, and more. Rumor has it they’ll even offer ice igloos and underwater rooms in the future...
