Salomon Trail Running Elite Training Camp: The Ultimate Challenge at Kuocang Mountain

    Kuocang Mountain faces the Yandang Mountains to the south, echoes the Tiantai Mountains to the north, neighbors Xiandu to the west, and overlooks the sea to the east. It is the highest peak in southeastern Zhejiang. The second Salomon Trail Running Elite Training Camp unfolds here.

This edition of the Salomon Trail Running Elite Training Camp specially invites Gregory Vollet, the Global Sports Marketing Director of Salomon and Head of the Salomon International Team, known as the "godfather" of trail running, to serve as head coach. Members of the Salomon International Team, Italian beauty Martina Valmassoi and American rising star Dakota Jones, both with numerous top performances in various races, serve as assistant coaches. Over the course of the three-day training camp, Gregory shares theoretical knowledge and conducts on-site practical drills, imparting multiple "secrets" to the elite trail runners present — from how to develop a training plan to running posture during trail runs, night running, and uphill and downhill techniques.

    "What can it actually bring you?" When asked by reporters after the event, everyone gave different answers. As Italian Salomon athlete Martina puts it: "Trail running has allowed me to discover a different version of myself, an unknown and challenging life. I just love to run, I just want to run!"
