It is reported that the First China Tourism Creative Achievements Exhibition and Trade Fair will be held in Shanghai from September 19 to 20, 2015.
The tourism industry, an important component of the modern service sector, is one of the most dynamic sunrise industries within the economic landscape. The development of tourism can effectively boost aggregate demand and consumption, drive the growth of related industries, promote employment, and plays a significant role in ensuring sustained and stable economic development.
China’s tourism industry has now gone through thirty-five years of development. Today, facing the new normal, the industry must plan for new growth with fresh thinking. The 21st century is the era of the creative economy. By integrating tourism with the creative industries, cross-sector creation of innovative tourism products can not only achieve product differentiation and enhance the humanistic value of tourism offerings, but also effectively promote the deeper and broader expansion of the tourism sector.
The hosting of the “First China Tourism Creative Achievements Exhibition and Trade Fair” aims to showcase the achievements of China’s tourism creativity, share new directions and ideas in tourism innovation, further stimulate the vitality of tourism creativity, elevate the overall level of creative tourism, accumulate experience and strength for the close integration of tourism and cultural creativity industries, and scientifically plan a new blueprint for the development of creative tourism.
