The Taroko “Poplar Trail,” hailed by international media as one of the must-visit attractions in the world, has once again been announced to be temporarily closed. The Taroko National Park Administration stated that due to the accumulation of loose rocks on the trail’s slopes and multiple falling rocks, the trail will undergo slope brushing work from now until November 10 for visitor safety, and will be temporarily closed during this period.
The Taroko Administration stated that the slope brushing work is a necessary measure to reduce falling rocks and ensure visitor safety. To minimize the impact of the slope brushing work on visitor recreational activities and traffic, the public is urged to cooperate with the control measures implemented by construction personnel.
