Travel Center / Comprehensive Report
The fifth Han Lai Vegetarian branch in Taiwan and its first in Taipei’s Zhongxiao SOGO will open on November 8. On the opening day at 11:00 AM, visitors dressed in clothing featuring one of the three fruit and vegetable color tones—yellow, green, or red (covering at least 70% of the garment), or creatively dressed in a fruit and vegetable-inspired style, can queue up at the entrance of Han Lai Vegetarian Zhongxiao Branch to receive an “exclusive Han Lai Vegetarian welcome gift.” Limited to 200 sets.
The design of the Han Lai Vegetarian Zhongxiao SOGO Branch emphasizes a fashionable and minimalist style. For the menu, the team has developed 23 new dishes this time, including Cold Black Fungus with Sauce, Marinated Tofu with Shredded Tofu, Hawaiian Macadamia Nuts with Sauce, Tomato Sauce White Beans with Portobello Mushrooms, Steamed Mushrooms with Fresh Dew, Lotus Leaf Steamed Four Treasures, Fragrant Fruit Crispy Willow Strips, Ten Directions Hotpot, among others. The menu heavily features mushrooms and black fungus, which are in season in autumn, prepared in various ways such as cold dishes, steaming, deep-frying, or stir-frying.
To source high-quality organic ingredients, Han Lai Vegetarian has entered into contracts with multiple organic farms in Taiwan, regularly purchasing organic rice, leafy greens, and melons and fruits. It also sources organic black bean sprouts from the Bai Shou Sprout Farm in Miaoli. In addition to supporting local farmers, Han Lai Vegetarian spares no expense in using Canadian organic soybeans and imported quinoa from Chile, ensuring that customers enjoy the healthiest and highest-quality ingredients.
