South Korea’s Naejangsan Mountain is ablaze with stunning autumn foliage — exclusive shuttle buses for foreigners now available for a limited time

As autumn arrives, many places are painted red by maple leaves, and South Korea’s famous foliage spot, Naejangsan Mountain, is also draped in vibrant crimson hues. The Korea Tourism Organization has been actively promotingspecialized regional tours across South Koreaand, in collaboration with the North Jeolla Provincial Government, has introduced the “Exclusive Shuttle Bus for Foreigners in North Jeolla Province (SHUTTLE BUS)” to help international tourists easily access Naejangsan Mountain in North Jeolla for its autumn foliage. Online reservations are now open, so travelers eager to witness this rare beauty shouldn’t miss out.

The exclusive shuttle bus for foreigners is tailored for international travelers and will operate according to various seasonal event themes across North Jeolla Province. The round-trip fare is 10,000 KRW (approximately 300 TWD), more than 50% cheaper than regular buses, making it a convenient way for foreign visitors to explore North Jeolla and Jeonju. The bus will depart from Donghwa Duty Free near Gwanghwamun in central Seoul and take approximately three and a half hours to reach North Jeolla Province, with the return trip departing from the same meeting point.

The operation period for the Naejangsan exclusive shuttle bus for foreigners is from November 4 to 13. Only travelers with a foreign passport are eligible to apply, and they must make a reservation in advance via the website or by phone. On-site registration is available depending on availability and remaining seats.
