Each fair attracts over a million visitors, and its spectacular scenes have been hailed as a modern-day “Along the River During the Qingming Festival” and China’s carnival. This event has undergone significant innovation in concept, approach, and model based on the Beijing Cultural Temple Fair. With “traditional Chinese culture” as its foundation and modern fashion culture and trade culture as breakthrough points, it upgrades the “traditional temple fair market” into a high-end platform for international cultural exchange of Chinese folk, ethnic, and traditional culture. It promotes the going-global of time-honored enterprises and intangible cultural heritage inheritors, achieving integrated development of culture and industry, and driving both social and economic benefits.
