Also located in the town of Chongli, Wanlong Ski Resort is China’s first open ski resort, with the highest point at an altitude of 2,110.3 meters and a vertical drop of 550 meters.
Wanlong Ski Resort initially developed 22 ski runs for beginners, intermediates, and experts, covering a total area of over 900,000 square meters, along with over 900,000 square meters of backcountry snow. Matching the runs, there are two double-chairlifts, three four-person chairlifts, and a magic carpet specially designed for beginners — thoughtful designs that help eliminate the fear of chairlifts for novice skiers. It includes 40 ticket windows, three of which are dedicated to the “Express Lane” for the official Nanshan Ski WeChat account, allowing online booking and payment of ski products to reduce on-site wait times.
