China News Service, November 25 — As winter 2015 arrives, in response to market demand and to show appreciation to visitors, Mount Emei will expand its free skiing policy to include citizens from all provinces and cities across the country.
During the period from December 1, 2015, to March 30, 2016, anyone who purchases a ticket to Mount Emei at half price or above (including half price) can enjoy one hour of free snowboarding on Mount Emei by presenting their ticket (excluding New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival golden week).
From December 15, 2015, to January 15, 2016, the off-season ticket price for Mount Emei is 110 yuan per person, one ticket per person. The entrance ticket does not include insurance, temple admission fees, or cable car fees. During the same period, the Golden Summit Cable Car and the Wannian Cable Car at Mount Emei will offer off-season discounted prices for all visitors. From December 15, 2015, to January 15, 2016, the price of the Golden Summit Cable Car (round trip) will be adjusted from 120 yuan to 50 yuan, with 30 yuan per person for the ascent and 20 yuan per person for the descent; the price of the Wannian Cable Car (round trip) will be adjusted from 110 yuan to 50 yuan, with 30 yuan per person for the ascent and 20 yuan per person for the descent.
