7. First Aid Kit
Coming down with a serious illness is more troublesome than getting lost—especially when you're alone. Your first aid kit should include supplies for treating major injuries, not just cuts and scrapes. Bring Quick Clot or Celox for severe bleeding, along with tweezers, needle and thread, antibiotic ointment, sunscreen, and any other specific medications you might need in an emergency.
8.GPS
Whether you’re in the jungle, desert, mountains, or canyon, outdoor groups undertaking wide-ranging activities like treks should be equipped with GPS. Even for small, self-organized group outings, carrying a GPS is essential.
If you’re planning to take on the challenge of wilderness survival, remember to pack these items before you head out !
