Grandly Open on March 23, Achieving Remarkable Success
The 14th China (Beijing) International RV & Camping Exhibition and the 2017 China (Beijing) International Outdoor Camping Exhibition, themed "Discover the RV World," grandly opened at the RV World · Beijing RV Expo Center from March 23 to 26. The event was jointly organized by the RV Committee of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, 21st Century RV, and RV World, and hosted by Beijing Camper RV Exhibition Co., Ltd. It also received strong support from the Self-Driving Travel & Camping RV Branch of the China Tourism Vehicle & Ship Association, the Automotive Camping Branch of the Federation of Automobile Sports of China, the Auto Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Beijing RV Camping Self-Drive Tourism Association, the China RV Camping Alliance, the China Branded RV Alliance, the China Branded Campsite Alliance, Fangjian Group, the Tourism College of Beijing Union University, and Beijing New Energy Automobile Marketing Co., Ltd.
According to the organizers: "2017 is a year of new opportunities and also a year of significant challenges for the RV and camping industry. Looking back at 2016, we saw the frequent introduction of favorable policies. Multiple departments under the State Council jointly issued several documents of profound significance to the industry's development. Among them, on November 9, 2016, eight ministries including the National Tourism Administration jointly released the 'Several Opinions on Promoting the Development of Self-Driving and Recreational Vehicle Tourism' in Beijing. These opinions explicitly proposed 'to initially establish an industrial system for self-driving and recreational vehicle tourism' and 'to handle motor vehicle registration in accordance with the law for domestically produced recreational trailers listed in the 'Announcement of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products' and imported recreational trailers that meet relevant national standards.' With government support and assistance, the Chinese RV market will thrive in 2017. While continuously improving RV-related policies and surrounding infrastructure, domestic RV manufacturers will also step up product marketing efforts to bring more satisfying RV products to consumers."
