Last updated 2026-11-08 — On the first day of the Expo, the weather seemed much more pleasant than in previous years, and the Nanjing International Expo Center welcomed a large number of visitors. Today, I had the opportunity to visit the Nitecore booth (4.2100) and interview Mr. Huang Hewen, Nitecore’s Marketing Director. Having just won the German Red Dot Award, Nitecore added another two product awards at the Asia Outdoor Industry Awards held this afternoon. Beaming with joy, Mr. Huang introduced the equipment on display at the Nitecore booth during this Expo.

On the first day of the Expo, the weather seemed much more pleasant than in previous years, and the Nanjing International Expo Center welcomed a large number of visitors.

The GL20 may look like an ordinary EDC key light, but with its three light heads, it’s actually a versatile product. Its laser pointer offers directional aiming, making it a great tool for outdoor training and rock climbing. Its USB rechargeability ensures long-term reuse.

Mr. Huang also introduced the upcoming K3T flashlight to me. Its high-brightness mode can be used for jade appraisal, and its two-battery design makes it a great choice as a backup flashlight.

The Phoenix Tactical Pen, which was recently reviewed on the Equipment Cool platform, is Nitecore’s third-generation tactical pen. Its four-leaf clover design symbolizes luck and safety. Its lightweight design makes it more suitable for women. Compared to tactical pens designed for men, the Phoenix replaces the tungsten steel tip with a zirconia bead, which has hardness second only to diamond and can be used for pain compliance—ideal for everyday self-defense by women. For the pen refill, the Phoenix uses a space pen refill that writes smoothly even in zero gravity, underwater, or in extreme cold as low as -40°C, with ink that can last over 100 years. Next time a guy wants to write a love letter for a confession, he could use the Phoenix Tactical Pen—the implication being “I’ll love you for 100 years without change,” haha.

Next, Mr. Huang introduced Niteye’s new phone mount for this year, which adds a clip-on stand to the existing system—perfect for women who prefer not to attach their phones directly using magnets.

Mr. Huang’s introduction gave us a fresh understanding of Nitecore. Though it’s a familiar brand, we still look forward to it eagerly—year after year of new product launches at the Expo, and the joy of winning awards at evaluations. Perhaps this is the very reason fans come to the Expo to see these familiar brands.

Thoughtful as always, Nitecore is also giving out ice cream at the booth. The Qijia and Bingquan treats even let you explore the Expo hands-free. The Expo continues tomorrow, and Nitecore looks forward to seeing everyone at booth 4.2100.
