From the moment your feet touch Swiss soil, it’s like flipping through a series of postcards, where the magnificent landscapes are so breathtaking you can’t bear to blink. St. Moritz is a mountain town perched at an altitude of 1,856 meters, blessed with abundant sunshine all year round. The Swiss describe the weather here as having “champagne” quality. Wandering around Lake St. Moritz, time seems to pass particularly slowly, as if breathing too deeply might make you miss a moving moment.

Surrounded by the mighty Alps, life around St. Moritz is leisurely and carefree. It is also one of the world’s renowned winter sports centers, having hosted the Olympic Winter Games several times — the vibrant scene is easy to imagine.

Walking along Lake St. Moritz, the snow-capped mountain ranges are vividly mirrored on the clear lake, as if a famous winter painting has come to life. Perched above the dreamy lakeside is the forest hotel 《Waldhaus am See》, home to the world’s largest whisky collection — over 2,500 varieties treasured by the owner. Yang Zhenfa, chairman of Taiyong Travel Agency, said the shop’s most expensive rare collection is priced at 30,000 Swiss francs per bottle. It was also certified by the Guinness World Records in 1998. Whisky lovers visiting the dreamy town of St. Moritz shouldn’t miss paying homage here.
