Mickey turned 88 this year and celebrated by taking a global trip, starting in Los Angeles and traveling to Kyoto, Shanghai, Rome, Paris, Rio, and Cusco, ending in New York. Mickey’s birthday is a big deal for fans. Recently, Shanghai Disneyland held a birthday celebration event on its official WeChat platform. Eighteen lucky fans were selected to celebrate Mickey’s birthday at the theme park. The fans ranged from young girls to seniors, and most notably, an 81-year-old grandma who dressed up beautifully and attended with her granddaughter — they looked rejuvenated in the photos.

Among them were fans who share the same birthday as Mickey, those nicknamed “Mickey” because of their round faces since childhood, and twin sisters who have read Mickey Mouse magazines since they were kids… Everyone gathered together as fellow Mickey fans, and conversations about Mickey never seemed to end.
