The "Genting Dream," a brand-new cruise line under the Genting Hong Kong Cruise Group and the first luxury cruise ship based in Asia, set sail from its home port in Hong Kong in November. Under the banner of a “floating mobile palace,” in addition to premium hardware facilities and high-end services, the ship's five major innovations have garnered much attention. Not only has the well-known show “China’s Got Talent” been brought onboard, but the super thrilling high-altitude zipline is also a highlight. If you've never taken a cruise, these five features are the reasons you should get on board!

1. Star Legends—China’s Got Talent

"Star Legends—China’s Got Talent" is the first China’s Got Talent-branded series of shows held at sea. With state-of-the-art entertainment equipment, the 45-minute sea edition of "Star Legends—China’s Got Talent" is grandly staged in the Constellation Theatre aboard the "Genting Dream," which can accommodate nearly a thousand people. The performers all have extraordinary skills, and their acts are nothing short of breathtaking, offering both entertainment and a visual feast!

2. Sea Rope Course / Climbing Wall

Looking for thrills on board? Don’t miss the 18-story-high sea zipline and the 30-meter-long giant cable zipline experience. Just walking on the aerial ropes is enough to make your scalp tingle, and dangling your feet 18 stories above the sea is enough to make even adults’ legs go weak. There’s also a sea climbing wall with varying difficulty levels, and when you reach the top, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the sea.

3. Sea Johnnie Walker House

The first-ever sea-based Johnnie Walker House is located right on the Genting Dream. A life-sized statue of the "Walking Man" custom-made exclusively for the "Genting Dream" symbolizes the unprecedented collaboration between Star Cruises and the Johnnie Walker House. And this is more than just a regular bar—you can sample rare whiskies that are hard to find elsewhere.

4. Zouk Party Club

Star Cruises has brought the first-ever sea-based Zouk Party Club to the "Genting Dream." Featuring world-class performing guests and celebrity DJs who bring electrifying live music, it creates an ultra-fun floating nightclub. The Zouk Party Club divides different club experiences into three zones: a large indoor dance floor, a sports bar that combines glow-in-the-dark bowling and billiards, and an outdoor deck perfect for throwing a party—letting travelers revel day and night.

5. World-Famous Chef’s Seafront Restaurant “The Star Chef”

The world-renowned chef Mark Best is the creative force behind the “The Star Chef” restaurant on the Genting Dream. Chef Mark Best’s restaurants have been named among the World’s 50 Best Restaurants for three consecutive years. Specializing in crafting cuisine with meticulously selected seasonal ingredients paired with Australia’s finest quality fresh meats, guests can enjoy Chef Mark Best’s unique original Western dishes, complemented by premium wines, and sample classic dishes from the chef’s signature wine-pairing menu.

The Genting Dream currently offers two routes: a 3-day, 2-night route departing every Friday from Hong Kong – High Seas – Hong Kong, and a 6-day, 5-night Vietnam route departing every Sunday from Hong Kong – Nansha – High Seas – Da Nang – Ha Long Bay – High Seas – Nansha – Hong Kong.
