Recently, girls have been obsessed with rainbow and gradient-themed foods. This shop, Quan Village Handmade, located in Neipu District, Pingtung, has caught onto the trend by offering rainbow cheesecake and syringe gradient drinks. These highly Instagrammable menu items have made the shop a hit on social media just three months after opening—truly a huge sensation!

The name “Quan Village Handmade” comes from the fact that the owner’s grandmother’s name includes the character “quan” (泉), and she grew up in “Neipu Village,” hence the name “Quan Village,” which also carries the meaning of remembering one’s roots and being grateful for family support. As for “handmade,” it reflects the owner’s philosophy—not only constantly innovating but also allowing customers to customize their own favorite drinks in-store.

Here, you can’t quite define it as just a restaurant or a drink shop, because the owner says Quan Village Handmade doesn’t have a fixed business category—it simply sells what the owner loves to eat and drink, offering it to customers. So in this shop, besides enjoying signature desserts and drinks, you can also try afternoon tea, light meals, and even hot pot options.

The rainbow cheesecake is the shop’s signature item, with its rich cream filling and colorful gradient appearance—each bite bursts with happiness.The syringe gradient drinks are a must-try. “Mermaid Bubble” and “Cloud Bubble” are the only two drinks you can make yourself in-store. The syringes contain cocktails of pomegranate and citrus flavors mixed with fresh lemon juice, and they’re non-alcoholic—no worries about getting tipsy.As for how to achieve the gradient effect? The owner explains that the beaker contains a bubbly drink and ice cubes. Customers just need to inject the cocktail from the syringe into the cup, and the air helps create a beautiful layered effect, while also satisfying the desire to get hands-on.
