On July 29, the preliminary round of the 2017 Bikini Model Contest kicked off at Changde Happy Water World.
The theme of this contest is “Happy Water World, Sizzling Your Summer,” showcasing female beauty and the trendy vibes of Happy Water World to ignite this summer.
The preliminary round was held in two sessions on July 29–30.
Before the competition began, waves, dance performances, and aerial stunts by water flyers got the visitors excited. The wave pool area was packed with enthusiastic crowds, all eagerly awaiting the stunning runway walk of the beauties.
A total of 51 contestants participated in this preliminary round. The contestants competed for a spot in the finals through bikini runway walks and talent showcases. After an intense and thrilling round of judging, 35 contestants stood out with their outstanding appearance, eloquence, charisma, and talent, impressing the judges.
During the contest, the atmosphere on stage was lively and tense, while the audience below splashed water and cheered enthusiastically. The synergy between the stage and the audience made the entire event well-paced and full of energy.
It is reported that on this year’s Army Day (August 1), Changde Happy Water World will offer free admission to active-duty military personnel, veterans, and armed police officers upon presentation of valid IDs (including military ID, police ID, and veteran ID). Additionally, two accompanying family members or friends can enjoy a 50% discount on tickets purchased at the box office—that is, Changde Happy Water World tickets at 65 RMB each, applicable for both day and night sessions.
On August 2 and 3, in celebration of Online Men’s Day, Happy Water World will offer all men a 50% discount on tickets for both day and night sessions, priced at 65 RMB each.

Nighttime ticket: 110 RMB per person. Night session opens on July 1 (operating hours: 17:00–22:00)
Children and seniors ticket: 100 RMB per person, applicable for children between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.5 meters (exclusive), and seniors aged 60 and above
Free admission: 0 RMB per person. Children under 1.2 meters (exclusive) enter free of charge but must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult with the ability to provide supervision.
