This time, Daku wants to share a special coffee shop with you — “Holly Brown Coffee,” located in a lane on Ruiguang Road in Taipei’s Neihu District. It’s a coffee brand from Hong Kong and also its Taiwan flagship store. Not only does it serve all-day brunches and main meals, but it also offers its own roasted coffee beans, Italian gelato, and crazy milkshakes. With a diverse menu that includes savory dishes, desserts, light meals, and a wide variety of drinks and ice creams, there's something for everyone.
The best part? The minimum spend is just one drink, and there’s no service charge. The window seats even have power outlets, making it the perfect mobile office. They will also soon offer coffee roasting classes, and you can find related products like roasted beans, coffee cups, and books on-site. Coffee lovers, come and give it a try.
Holly Brown Coffee is located in a lane on Ruiguang Road in Taipei’s Neihu District, just a 10-minute walk from the Gangqian MRT Station. It’s quite a pleasant stroll over.

The store features high ceilings and an open design that gives the space a bright and airy feel.

The interior also has plenty of room, giving off a cozy yet stylish vibe.

The seats are well-spaced out, and there's almost one power outlet for every three seats, making it truly a mobile office.

The baristas here are trained by world-champion-level coffee experts and regularly participate in competitions. The shop also invites foreign specialists for exchanges from time to time.

Additionally, this year they’ve added many new items.

The menu includes both hot and cold beverages, allowing customers to choose based on the weather.

The colorful and tempting “Devil Milkshake” looks absolutely delightful, making you want to try one right away.

There’s also a beautiful glass display case nearby, showcasing various coffee cups, roasted beans, books, and other goods. Interested friends can take some home.

The MENU includes all-day brunches, light meals, soups, salads, main courses, desserts, Italian gelato, and more — plenty of choices. There are also a variety of coffees, teas, fruit teas, and crazy milkshakes. The drink options are also abundant. The minimum spend is one drink, and there’s no service charge — pretty generous.
There are also separate lunch and dinner menus, each with its own unique offerings.

The first highlight is the brunch menu, where you can enjoy a hearty meal.

English Classic Big Breakfast (380 TWD)It includes a salad, toast, soft-boiled egg, mushrooms, bacon, German sausage, and hash browns — quite a generous portion.

The egg yolk flows out when cut, adding a rich touch to the overall dish. The hash browns are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not too greasy, and even more flavorful with ketchup.

The salad pairs with vinaigrette dressing, offering a slightly sour, sweet, and crisp taste that’s refreshing and appetizing. The toast is made from whole wheat bread, and spreading butter on it enhances the aroma, leaving you feeling quite full.

Strong Coffee (Hot / 140 TWD)If you order a drink with your meal, you can get a 100 TWD discount and upgrade to another drink. So Daku went with his favorite latte, which was smooth and mellow, with a perfect balance of coffee’s acidity, sweetness, and bitterness, and even creamier when paired with fresh milk.

Smoked Salmon Benedict (340 TWD)This is also one of Daku’s favorite classic brunch dishes.

The poached egg sits atop smoked salmon and a piece of toasted English muffin, topped with a sunny-side-up egg at the end, looking very vibrant.

After cutting into it, the runny yolk flows out, making it visually very appealing.

The muffin is soft and buttery, and together with the egg yolk and smoked salmon, it offers a great mix of textures. Paired with the light and sweet hollandaise sauce, it’s a combination Daku really enjoys.

Vibrant Anti-Oxidant Fruit Bowl (260 TWD)Inside, there's acai yogurt with oat clusters, seasonal fruits, and chia seeds—it looks colorful and dreamy.

% It’s also one of my favorite parts, not just because it’s refreshing and light, but also because it combines the textures of fruit, granola, and the not-too-sweet yogurt. The aroma is also very pleasant.

% Not only is it a great combination for any time of day, but you can also enjoy the flavors and textures of the fruit and yogurt mix. Plus, the sugar content isn’t too high.

% Sometimes when I’m not very hungry or want something healthy to eat, this is perfect. You can enjoy the natural sweetness of various fruits, paired with the crunchiness of grains and nuts and the tanginess of the yogurt. It’s refreshing, not heavy, and very filling, yet feels light on the body.

% Also, the café on the first floor of the building offers different teas every day. Each day brings a unique tea flavor—my tea-loving friends would definitely love it too. Their glassware is super special, not only aesthetically pleasing but also insulated. The highlight is that they even provide a scent cup, offering a double delight for both your sense of smell and taste.

% Featuring Grilled Chicken Salad with Brown Rice (NT$260),This dish is quite a unique creative creation. The base is filled with brown rice, topped with a layer of lettuce and alfalfa sprouts, and then finished with grilled chicken slices, seaweed shreds, and sesame sauce. It looks like a pretty generous portion.

% The flavors are well-balanced—not too heavy, but also not bland. The combination of textures from the crunchy veggies and the tender chicken creates a very satisfying bite. The presentation is also spot-on.

% The chicken, mixed greens, and sesame sauce create a refreshing and light taste. Paired with the chewy nori and the subtle flavors, it’s a delightful mix. If you’re still feeling a bit hungry, you can pair it with the brown rice at the bottom. The portion is substantial, and it’ll definitely fill you up.

% Next up, we have to try these two new and most talked-about crazy milkshakes. Honestly, these two look insanely gorgeous.

% Featuring Little Red Riding Hood & Wild Berries (NT$280) and Chocolate Lover’s Dream (NT$280)Seeing these colorful and rich milkshakes even made me feel a surge of girlish delight.

% First, let’s look at the Little Red Riding Hood & Wild Berries. The contrast between the red berries and the white yogurt is striking. There’s also a sprig of mint on top, along with colorful candy pearls and rainbow sprinkles for decoration. It looks super dreamy and eye-catching.

% The way it’s served is quite simple. First, pour the yogurt base, then add the toppings. The taste is pleasantly sweet and tangy, with the unique aroma of wild berries. It’s cool, refreshing, and absolutely delicious.

% The Chocolate Lover’s Dream features a mountain of whipped cream, REO cookies, and Belgian chocolate brownie, topped with a scoop of chocolate gelato, a cone, and fresh cream. It looks completely chocolatey.

% In the middle, there’s also a layer of chocolate syrup and crushed cookies, adding more chocolatey goodness. The chocolate gelato isn’t overly sweet—it has a slight bitterness that chocolate lovers will definitely enjoy. As for the cone, it’s honestly a bit too sweet and rich to finish, so I couldn’t eat the whole thing.

% These two desserts are perfect if you’re in the mood for something sweet, indulgent, and comforting. They’re especially great if you’re craving chocolate. Most thoughts about calories or dieting instantly vanish.

% Featuring Lemon Ricotta Pancake with Fresh Cream (NT$250)This pancake takes about 20–30 minutes to bake, so everyone will need to be a bit patient.

% Though it might not look like your typical pancake, the texture is light and fluffy. Topped with seasonal fruits like blueberries and dragon fruit, as well as nuts, and a dollop of freshly whipped cream in the middle, it’s a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.

% The texture is incredibly soft and pillowy, paired with fresh cream, dragon fruit, and blueberries. It’s mildly tangy, sweet, and layered with complex flavors—a truly unique and wonderful experience. It’s the perfect ending to the meal.

The interior of “Holly Brown Coffee” is bright and spacious, not only full of design flair but also with extremely tempting food. Their smoked salmon Eggs Benedict is one of the few delicious ones I’ve had—the balance of textures and flavors is just right, leaving a lasting impression. The grilled chicken salad with brown rice is also flavorful, refreshing, and filling. For those looking for something lighter, the fruit bowl is a great option with minimal impact on the body. Most importantly, their crazy milkshakes are irresistibly decadent—once they’re served, thoughts of weight or dieting instantly fly out the window, but they definitely boost your mood. The colorful and luxurious decorations are super eye-catching, appealing to both guys and girls alike. Highly recommended—everyone with an interest should come and give them a try.
