The popular layered matcha latte from the chain tea shop 50 Lan has recently sparked a trend, and it finally launched in the Taipei area on November 22, quickly setting off a wave of check-ins on social media. But besides 50 Lan, many other beverage shops also offer matcha lattes, and if you're looking for that beautiful layered matcha latte, ETtoday EBC has rounded up six other shops that serve them — you can try flavors from different places.

Bobii Frutii Pearl Fruit Special
The shop’s “Yuzhi Chuxue” uses Japanese Uji matcha powder from Marukyu Koyamaen, a brand with over 300 years of history, and the matcha is made completely by hand. When the staff prepare it, they pour the matcha powder into a bowl, add 80-degree hot water, then whisk it with a bamboo whisk to create a smooth and delicate texture. Afterwards, they pour it over milk with ice — the whole process takes about three minutes.

Chaduri has a Japanese-inspired style, and its matcha beverages include toppings like mochi pearls. Drinks like the Royal Matcha Latte, Hojicha Matcha Latte, and Uji Camellia offer magical color gradations from light to deep green, making them highly popular in Tainan.
