Providing designers and product managers with the most up-to-date international sports fashion trend information is one of ISPO’s objectives. ISPO has long partnered with internationally acclaimed trend research organizations to analyze global trends impacting the textile industry and its products. By observing fashion’s leading edge in sports, it forecasts the innovations and changes in the future of the sports fashion sector.
From January 24 to 27, 2018, ISPO Beijing 2018 — the 14th Asia Outdoor & Sports Lifestyle Trade Show — will be held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Meanwhile, the 2018 China Sports Fashion Trend Forum will take place on Thursday, January 25, 2018, in Meeting Room M-306 within the conference area.

The forum is honored to host Ms. Louisa Smith, a renowned textile trend consultant from the UK, and Ms. Qu Dandan from France’s leading trend research institute PROMOSTYL. They will provide a comprehensive interpretation of trend research and forecasts in the fields of color, materials, and techniques in the sports fashion industry, and will also unveil: “ISPO Functional Textile Trends & Color Card – 2019/20 Autumn/Winter” and “France PROMOSTYL Outdoor Fashion Trends & 2019/20 Autumn/Winter Sports Design Guide.”
In addition, representatives from South Korea’s Hyosung Group, guests from Kunshan Tengfei, and experts from Primaloft will also join the forum to share their latest and trendiest insights into the sports fashion world. The five presentations cover various aspects of the sports fashion field, each with a unique focus — essential insights that designers and product managers simply can’t miss.
ISPO will also take this opportunity to share the 2019/2020 Autumn/Winter functional textile trends, interpreting the season’s key trends across multiple dimensions in light of shifts in major social factors, such as sources of inspiration, consumer behavior, colors, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
At the same time, the ISPO Functional Textile Trends Award (ISPO Textrends) exhibition area will be prominently featured at the show. Attendees will not only have the chance to experience the latest award-winning functional fabrics and materials up close but will also be among the first to access the newly launched sports design resource — the 2019/20 Autumn/Winter Trends Handbook.
