On the afternoon of March 17, at Beijing Great Wall Hotel, the First RV Era Summit was successfully held. The first national-level industry media magazine in the RV industry, "RV Era," was officially launched. Over 500 attendees gathered at the summit, representing government agencies, RV industry associations, RV and parts manufacturers, RV dealers, cabin enterprises, outdoor gear companies, campsite operators, local tourism development groups, RV clubs and rental businesses, as well as media. According to the organizers, this was the first edition of the summit, and it will be held annually hereafter. The event was co-hosted by China Automotive News, China City News, China Automotive Journalists Association, and FM103.9 Beijing Traffic Radio, and organized by RV Era Magazine and the RV & Camping Media Committee of the China Automotive Journalists Association.

The First RV Era Summit 2018 consisted of two segments. The first segment featured speeches from the organizers and keynote addresses. Representatives from industry media, associations, government bodies, RV companies, campsite operators, platform enterprises, and others delivered presentations, sharing their developments and insights from various perspectives within the industry to promote the healthy growth of the RV sector. The second segment featured four major press conferences that made significant announcements. These included the product launch and partner signing ceremony for China Copper Auto Aftermarket Chain & Service System, the platform launch of RV Era Magazine, the planning announcement and inaugural enterprise signing ceremony for the 2018 China Yaxi RV Era Cultural Base, and the launch ceremony for the 2018 Nanjing (International) RV Tourism Culture Expo and the First Yaxi International Slow City RV Camping Festival.
