MARMOT | Hear a Beautiful Coach Talk About Trying Out the New Yoga Series

Published: 2026-11-08 👁 104 views
Last updated 2026-11-08 — I used to only know that Marmot was great at outdoor functional clothing, and most people I knew wearing Marmot were guys. I didn’t expect their women’s yoga wear to be so amazing.

Good-looking faces are everywhere.

It’s hard to find someone who has both beauty and talent.

Today, Little Mouse is here to do the hard work for you.

Let’s start with a real-life photo to kick things off.

The fairy in the photo is from Hunan — a Hunan girl who embodies both delicate charm and a fiery personality. Fair skin, beautiful face, long legs — just say, are you heart-fluttering yet? Well, Little Mouse definitely is.

Liu Hui, who has worked as a fitness coach for three years and is also a coach at Yiji Fitness, here’s a not-so-complete little profile for you. In this issue, she’ll share her experience with the new Marmot yoga series.

Externally: High Visual Appeal

This time I tried out the new yoga series launched this year by the well-known American outdoor brand Marmot. I won’t go into too much detail about the brand here. In this report, I’ll share my own experience wearing the products, hoping to offer some practical reference for all the fairies out there.

First, let’s talk about this tank top. Tank tops are quite common in fitness and outdoor sports, and they’re totally fine for yoga or everyday wear. Just remember, clothes are dead, but people are alive — don’t limit them to one specific scenario.

This tank top does a great job in terms of “avoiding disadvantages.” Its H-shaped shoulder straps are cleverly designed. They can make broad-shouldered people appear narrower visually and are also friendly to those with sloping shoulders, making us look more “upright.” The back design is sexy but not vulgar.

Actually, this kind of product isn’t only good for sports — it’s also a versatile piece for daily wear. You all can try out different styles later on.

The color is hibiscus red. It was really eye-catching when I first got it, and it looks especially great on camera. It complements the skin tone really well, making you look fair and clean. I think it’ll also photograph nicely for trips in spring and summer.

The officially available colors for this product also include light purple and gray-blue, but I feel hibiscus red might be more appealing to fairies.

The yoga pants feature a dark gray-to-light gray horizontal stripe gradient, and this gradient design gives it a lot of dimension. It’s not as stiff as a single color, nor as dizzying as patterns overloaded with multiple colors.

Personally, I think this design is pretty classic — it strikes a nice balance between complexity and simplicity.

Also, I think many fairies will love this: these pants are really slimming and make your legs look longer. Paired with the yoga top, the overall look is very nice, giving off a youthful and energetic vibe.

Internally: Functional Material

Whether it’s yoga or other types of exercise, material is always a key consideration when choosing clothing. Because you sweat a lot during workouts, if the clothes don’t dry quickly, sticking to your body can be really uncomfortable and negatively affect your mood and performance.

I’ve worn this yoga set a few times during workouts, and I just have to say — it’s absolutely amazing. I’m the type who sweats a lot during exercise, but with this set, I never feel like the sweat is clinging to me.

The yoga pants are made of quick-drying knit fabric, which feels much nicer than the common quick-dry materials on the market. The outside has a soft hand feel, and it’s really comfortable to wear.

The tank top uses AirExchange quick-dry fabric, which is indeed more breathable than other similar tank tops I’ve worn before, and its fast-drying advantage is also very obvious.

Later, I specifically checked the official info, which says this fabric offers 50% better breathability and 20% faster drying compared to regular fabrics. I think that data is a bit hard to verify for now, but the effect is definitely real — you can take that as a reference.

Elasticity: Move Freely

In yoga and various fitness activities, there’s a lot of movement — your body is constantly bending, stretching, and in motion, so the clothing needs to be more flexible and lightweight.

The pants are made of three-dimensional, form-fitting elastic fabric that adheres very well to the skin. There’s no pressure during movement, and you don’t have to worry about restricted motion or tearing. Also, because it fits the body so well, it doesn’t lose elasticity over time. I’ve worn them several times already, and there haven’t been any issues.

The tank top has moderate elasticity, but it’s particularly light and comfortable. During yoga meditation, for example, it helps you relax more and get into the zone faster. If you find the top a bit long, you can tie a knot on the side — no worries about loosening the bottom edge.

Details: Thoughtful Protection

After all that, I think you probably have a preliminary impression of this yoga set by now? Actually, it also excels in the details.

I mentioned earlier that moving around won’t cause tearing or restricted movement, and that’s mainly because they’ve added a triangular insert in the crotch area of the pants to increase your range of motion. This design really does enhance overall comfort. There’s also a small pocket at the waist that can hold cards or loose change—very user-friendly.

It’s said that these yoga pants have a UV protection index of UPF50, so you don’t have to worry about getting sunburned when wearing them in summer. That said, I haven’t felt the difference much this season yet, but if I get the chance in the future, I’ll share more on this.

The logo on the yoga top has a reflective design, which can slightly boost safety for those who like to go running at night. Plus, there’s an extended coverage design at the hem, so you don’t have to worry about accidentally exposing any awkward areas during certain movements—super considerate.

Before, I only had a general idea that Marmot was great at outdoor functional wear, and most of the people I knew wearing Marmot were guys. I didn’t expect their women’s yoga wear to be this amazing. Looks like their designers aren’t just catering to straight men after all. I really, really hope the designers will focus more on women’s clothing—after all, our purchasing power as “fairies” is no weaker than the guys’ these days.

That’s all.

From July 5–7, 2018, ISPO Shanghai 2018 will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, where Marmot will showcase more new products at booth N2.400.
