Guangzhou, May 21, 2018 -- On May 20, the day of bold confessions of “I love you,” Chimelong Safari Park was full of love. Not only did animals form loving bonds and repeatedly achieve life miracles at Chimelong, but humans and animals also developed family-like affection, with many people connecting over their mutual love for animals, together composing beautiful love stories. On this day, the animals of Chimelong, along with adults, children, and couples, gathered at this blessed land to celebrate a “520” filled with boundless love. Families and couples worked together to make custom cakes for pandas, design fun toys for primates, feed newborn white tiger cubs, and more, participating in a special and sweet animal-themed educational experience.
On "520," Chimelong Safari Park is overflowing with love.

The first giant panda born in South China at Chimelong, “Long Long,” has officially joined the national giant panda breeding program and is expected to become a mother, giving birth to the “second-generation panda” born in Guangzhou. Meanwhile, the black-leaf monkey—known as the “panda of the primate world” and a Class I protected animal in China—recently gave birth to the world’s first pair of panda twins (one male, one female) at Chimelong. Recently, Chimelong Safari Park has been full of good news. In fact, for many years, Chimelong has been dedicated to the protection and breeding of rare animals worldwide, truly earning its reputation as a “blessed land for animals,” attracting numerous domestic and international visitors hoping to share in its thriving, fortunate energy.
According to Chimelong Safari Park, the park embodies love between animals, between humans and animals, and between humans and nature, enabling it to achieve multiple world wonders: it is home to the world’s only surviving panda triplets and koala twins, and has successfully bred seven giant pandas over four consecutive years; it has unprecedented black-leaf monkey twins and white tiger sextuplets; it hosts the world’s largest overseas koala population with six generations living together, and the “One-Hair” to “Ten-Hair” family of golden snub-nosed monkeys...
Chimelong is truly a blessed land for animals, having created numerous life miracles.
These remarkable animal miracles have been witnessed by visitors from around the world and have also contributed to scientific exploration. Chimelong Safari Park has recreated natural, happy homes for nearly 500 species and over 20,000 globally rare animals. Under the park’s top-tier breeding and conservation techniques, these rare animals have thrived. The dedicated animal care teams, who work tirelessly behind the scenes, care for the animals even more attentively than they do their own children, resulting in many touching human-animal stories. Notably, as a “National Wildlife Conservation Science Education Base,” Chimelong Safari Park also offers visitors behind-the-scenes access to artificial rearing, animal feeding, food preparation, and animal treatment processes, using these fully “transparent” life journeys to inspire visitors’ empathy and awareness for cherishing nature and wildlife.
