This ultra-eye-catching “dessert gashapon machine” is located on Section 2, Haian Road, Tainan, right behind Xing’s Town Ice Cream Shop. Standing about 200 cm tall, this giant gashapon machine sports a bright yellow rocket tube exterior, with an interior diameter of 10 cm—large enough to hold fully chilled desserts. The amazing part? The entire machine was custom-built, making it a one-of-a-kind design in the world.

Speaking of the creative process, the operators explained that gashapon shouldn’t be limited to small toys—it can also hold food. That’s how the idea of dessert-filled gashapon was born, extending the joy of capsule toys to food and offering people an alternative form of entertainment while enjoying their treats.

Customers only need to insert NT$60 and turn the handle in the middle of the machine, and a pink or green gashapon capsule will drop from the bottom.
