Is taking the elevator down outdated? Try the lazy slide instead—it not only lets you experience speed but also the heart-pounding sensation of gliding down a transparent slide suspended in mid-air.

According to CNN, the much-discussed Los Angeles SkySlide is a great opportunity to test your courage. Located between the 70th and 69th floors of the US Bank Tower, you can slide down the stairs—though travelers might want to make sure their hearts can handle the thrill.

The SkySlide is about 13 meters long and made of three layers of glass to withstand strong winds. Riders can look down at the bustling sidewalks below from mid-air, and while it’s terrifying, it might also give you a unique feeling of “flying.”
