Blausee is located in Kandergrund, Switzerland, and is often hailed as a shining jewel of the Bernese Alps. Surrounded by towering mountains and underlain by crystal-clear, semi-transparent blue waters, the area is accompanied by the sounds of wind and birdsong, creating the illusion of an angelic abode. Strolling along the lakeside, a wooden slide lies at the far end of the lake. Climb to the top of the slide, and you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of Blausee.

The incredibly beautiful Blausee has been designated as a protected area by the local government and is now part of the 20-hectare “Blausee Nature Park.” Surrounded by century-old trees covered in moss, it resembles a scene straight out of a Studio Ghibli film. The pollution-free natural beauty refreshes the souls of all who visit.

Yang Zhenfa, chairman of Taiyong Travel Agency, a specialist in in-depth Swiss tours, noted that this is also a renowned trout-producing area. The restaurant owner at the time discovered the high-quality water here and thus developed this pristine land. In summer, visitors can even paddle around in charming red boats, romantically gliding through these “blue tears.”
