On June 28 Beijing time,The 13th Asia Outdoor Trade Show (June 28–July 1) opened as scheduled at the Nanjing International Expo Center, and the winners of the 9th Asia Outdoor Industry Awards were also announced at the same time.The products competing in the awards included various categories such as clothing, footwear, backpacks, mountaineering equipment, running gear, accessories and tools, camping supplies, covering almost the most comprehensive and popular outdoor activities in the field today. After rigorous evaluation by a professional jury, a total of 24 products were awarded the Asia Outdoor Industry Design Awards this year, among which the British professional shock-absorbing sports bra brand brought by Tuoding Sports,SHOCK ABSORBER Aimerui FLY BRA (Hummingbird), won the Gold Award in the Outdoor Industry Awards this year.
The key to winning lies in the fact that the designer of Shock Absorber Aimerui FLY BRA, Alan, used biomimicry in architecture to design this sports bra. The inspiration came from Spain’s largest wooden structure urban landmark, the Metropol Parasol. The Metropol Parasol features a quadrilateral crisscross hollow design full of futurism. With the simplest arrangement, it reduces overall weight while maintaining the most flexible structure. Even standing 26 meters high in the open air, exposed to wind and sun, it remains steadfast.
Inspired by the architectural structure of the Metropol Parasol, designer Alan and the design team tested dozens of mesh arrangements and hundreds of composite materials. Using laser precision cutting, they ultimately designed the world’s lightest high-strength shock-absorbing sports bra, named FLY BRA (Hummingbird series), meaning extremely lightweight and flexible. Its arched shape resembles a giant palm. When such a structure is applied to a sports bra, it provides high-intensity support as well as an ultra-light wearing experience.
The FLY BRA (Hummingbird), featuring a 3D crisscross mesh support design, helps women stabilize their chests during exercise, reducing movement by up to 78%. Shock Absorber Aimerui places great emphasis on the support and coverage of the bra for the chest. Its shock absorption effect is more than twice that of traditional bras, effectively reducing the risk of breast diseases.

In addition to its superior shock absorption performance, the weight of the FLY BRA (Hummingbird) is another highlight. The entire bra weighs only 73.6g. Many people may not have a sense of how much 73.6g is – it’s roughly the weight of a single egg. Imagine, one egg equals one bra. It’s almost weightless.
The fabric is skin-friendly, moisture-absorbent, sweat-wicking, and quick-drying. The cups feature a unique three-layer structure material that not only ensures stability and lightness but also effectively prevents the issue of nipple show-through, which is a top concern for active women. In addition, Shock Absorber Aimerui is the industry’s most specialized brand in product segmentation. The band sizes range from A cup up to HH cup, and the underbust sizes span from 60 to 110, truly offering “custom-fit” sports bras for women of all sizes.

The reason Shock Absorber Aimerui has remained a leader in the shock-absorbing bra field is that since 1994, it has collaborated with the University of Plymouth in the UK, using advanced 3D infrared camera technology to measure data on the movement of various parts of the female body in all directions – front, back, left, right, and inward and outward – during exercise.
