On April 14, the State Council issued the "Guiding Opinions on Supporting Hainan in Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Opening Up," which supports the construction of a national southern sports training base and provincial-level sports centers in Hainan. It encourages the development of beach sports, water sports, horse racing, and other events, and backs the creation of a national sports tourism demonstration zone.Horse RacingIs expected to become an international calling card for Hainan’s event-driven economy. This marks the first time the central government has officially endorsed horse racing from a policy perspective.Upon the announcement, the news immediately sent shockwaves through the horse industry, with various capitals and resources gearing up for action, and particularly agile industry pioneers quickly beginning to lay out their strategies in Hainan.
CHF 2018The forum plans to invite representatives from relevant Hainan government departments as well as leaders from local industry associations to deliver speeches ontopics such as the current state of Hainan’s horse industry, an analysis of the development potential of horse racing, and policy support for the development of horse racing in Hainan.Additionally, the forum will also invite domestic and international experts in the fields of horse racing, racetracks, disease-free zones, and equine welfare to share professional insights on horse racing from multiple perspectives, while also addressing questions on site.
