An outdoor gourmet feast is about to debut, alongside a one-of-a-kind joyful journey into the forest. Starting July 28, the Cuiyun Mountain Forest Scenic Area Music & Food Carnival will be held continuously until the end of August. A grand carnival meticulously crafted with stunning scenery, delicious food, music, and sports will offer visitors an extraordinary experience. Registration is now officially open!
A variety of exciting activities will take place in rotation. Local powerhouse bands will deliver heartfelt performances; lavish BBQ dinners featuring hot dishes, cold dishes, fruits, desserts, and grilled delicacies will be served; bonfires will blaze as visitors dance joyfully; colorful light shows will create a dreamlike atmosphere. This is a passionate musical extravaganza and a culinary journey to satisfy every craving. Alpine meadows, forests of the northern plains, a collision of the primal and the fashionable, a carnival where beauty meets rugged charm—this is sure to deliver a breathtaking experience you won’t want to miss. On July 28, during the first "Sky" Week, Cuiyun Mountain will welcome a special group of guests: parent-child teams made up of teachers, parents, and children, who will bring youthful energy and a refreshing breeze to the mountain!

This Cuiyun Mountain Forest Music & Food Carnival has prepared activities such as the Sky City experience, bonfire parties, and lucky wheels for visitors. Sky City is a signature attraction of the Cuiyun Mountain Forest Scenic Area, with its first batch of jungle crossings, treetop journeys, and aerial net adventures now open. The 30-obstacle jungle crossing includes swinging bridges, goat bridges, U-shaped nets, and mini rock climbing walls in a wide variety of styles; the 520-meter-long treetop journey features 5 treehouses and wooden walkways suspended in the air, allowing you to breathe in the fresh forest air, listen to the crisp chirping of birds, and enjoy a leisurely, relaxing time; the 300-square-meter aerial net adventure lets you walk, run, jump, and slide—an activity suitable for both adults and kids.
Bonfire music party, all-inclusive fun
The bonfire party is a simple yet fun ice-breaking game. As the bonfire grows from a small flame into a roaring fire, the atmosphere becomes electric. The bonfire brings people closer together, and at this moment, everyone gathers around to dance joyfully to upbeat music. You can also team up with friends from all over to engage in an exhilarating water gun battle in the great forest, reliving the carefree joy of childhood!The lucky wheel offers not only experience vouchers for Cuiyun Mountain’s signature jungle crossings, treetop journeys, and aerial net adventures, but also entertainment activities like singing, dancing lessons, and beer drinking, plus some fun penalty options. In addition to fun-filled activities, there will also be live band performances, luxurious buffet dinners, and dazzling light shows. Local top-tier bands from Zhangjiakou—Plant Sun, Shangjie Band, Mono Band, and Yuliang Band—will take turns performing live, delivering amazing vocals. Brilliant lights will pierce the sky, engaging both sight and sound, allowing visitors to let go, with their spirits soaring along with the music.
A grand food gathering, delicious and more satisfying
Enjoying outdoor cuisine with a breeze in your ears and music overhead is an experience unmatched by any air-conditioned room. A two-hour buffet dinner includes fragrant hot dishes like grilled fish with barbecue sauce and braised old duck, refreshing salads like smoked chicken with lemon and shrimp with pineapple, sweet and tangy fruits like watermelon and pineapple, delectable cakes like cheesecake and assorted mousses, non-greasy and flavorful Bashang lamb skewers, and juicy yet not oily chicken skewers—ensuring everyone eats to their heart’s content!

Event pricing
The event fee is 198 RMB per person, including admission, one experience (choose one from the first three activities of "Sky" Week: Cuiyun Mountain Sky City's jungle crossings, treetop journeys, or aerial net adventures), as well as the bonfire party, buffet dinner, and games. Tents, sleeping mats, sleeping bags, and other items are not included.
