Caesars Entertainment invests $375 million to build an outdoor convention plaza
CAESARS FORUM convention center breaks ground in Las Vegas
The CAESARS FORUM convention center, a $375 million investment by Caesars Entertainment, is expected to open in 2020. Spanning 550,000 square feet (approximately 51,096 square meters), it will feature two of the world’s largest column-free ballrooms as well as a 100,000-square-foot (approximately 9,290 square meters) FORUM Plaza. This project will become Las Vegas’ first large-scale outdoor convention plaza.

This announcement marks the latest expansion of Caesars Entertainment’s new convention assets. Earlier this spring, the company announced that two Caesars-branded hotels would be launched in Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach area and Mexico’s Puerto Los Cabos region, providing convention space in major cities. Last month, the company broke ground on a new convention center project at Harrah’s Cherokee in Cherokee, North Carolina. The $200 million convention center and hotel complex will feature 83,000 square feet (approximately 7,710 square meters) of meeting space, 725 hotel rooms, dining, and an outlet mall.
In 2015, Caesars Entertainment opened the Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City Conference Center, the largest hotel convention center between Baltimore and Boston. Across the U.S., Caesars Entertainment owns 40 top-tier hotels and 2.1 million square feet (approximately 19 hectares) of convention and event space.
