Hong Kong Airlines Celebrates 10th Anniversary: Announces First Flights to Vancouver in June 2017

Founded in 2006, awarded the international Skytrax four-star rating starting in 2011, and winning the “Best Cabin Service in Asia” at the WTA World Travel Awards in 2015, Hong Kong Airlines is celebrating its 10th anniversary of operations and showing appreciation to its passengers with a series of exciting activities. Additionally, the airline announced that it will launch its first flight to Vancouver on June 30, 2017, operating daily. In August of the same year, it will also take delivery of its first A350 aircraft. Besides flying to more cities in the Asia-Pacific region, it will also develop more long-haul flights, expanding its route network to major North American cities such as Vancouver.

In addition to launching the 10th-Anniversary Thankful Sale and hosting the “Search for the Most Exciting Travel Moment” campaign with prizes totaling 500,000 air tickets, all passengers flying with Hong Kong Airlines starting today will receive a limited-edition 10th-anniversary boarding pass. All child passengers (aged 2–11) will also receive a limited-edition commemorative flight game set. Furthermore, Hong Kong Airlines’ new brand advertisement, filmed on location in Australia, Japan, China, and Taiwan, has officially premiered.
