Qingshui Yuanshan Business District Celebrates Qixi Festival with Love Bus, Delicious Food & Giveaways

Located near the major MRT interchange stations Zhongshan Elementary School and Yuanshan, the Qingshui/Yuanshan Business District is dotted with historic landmarks, traditional delicacies, specialty eateries, and charming artisan shops. To celebrate Qixi Valentine’s Day, Taipei City’s Department of Commerce has joined forces with the Qingshui and Yuanshan Business Districts to jointly launch the “Loving Qingshui & Yuanshan – Sweet Memories: Qingshui/Yuanshan Qixi Romance Series.” From now until August 26, visitors who bring the Qingshui/Yuanshan Business District guidebook to participating stores to collect stamps will have the chance to win great prizes including a five-day trip for two to Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe, a couple’s meal voucher from Wang Steak, and NT$1,000 in Qingshui/Yuanshan Date Money.

To help couples create unforgettable memories this Qixi, from August 8–13, participating businesses in the district are offering special Qixi Valentine’s promotions to celebrate the rare reunion of the Cowherd and Weaver Girl. In addition to stamp collection with the guidebook, 31 stores are rolling out exclusive Qixi deals, including discounts of up to 20% off on apparel and drinks, free lover’s gifts with purchases, and limited-time special offers. Moreover, on August 10 from 14:00–18:00, the Qingshui/Yuanshan Business District will feature stage performances, and seven couples who sign up on-site can join the “Qingshui-Yuanshan Summer Love – Romantic Love Journey” for free. Participating couples will ride the district’s Love Bus, enjoy food, fun, and sightseeing around Qingshui and Yuanshan, and take on a “Love Challenge: No Obstacles to Romance” activity to test their compatibility. The winning couple will instantly receive a special gift — the cherished Qingshui-Yuanshan Date Money.
