RAPL was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, and after 30 years of continuous refinement, it adheres to three core principles: “prioritizing premium ingredients,” “not sparing time or effort,” and “insisting on serving freshly baked products.” It has now reached its current level of deliciousness, while continuing to pursue an even tastier apple pie. In late 2017, the freshly baked custard apple pie specialty store “RAPL Pengpai Lingguo” officially made its overseas debut in Taiwan. The crispy crust encases diced apples and custard filling, winning over consumers with its unique texture and creative shape.
RAPL Pengpai Lingguo sparked conversation with its distinctive “palm-sized little happiness” shape and the delightful taste of sweet apples and creamy custard blending in your mouth with every bite.
The “RAPL Honey Lemon Apple Pie” combines a freshly baked 144-layer flaky croissant crust, diced apples from Aomori Prefecture (with leaves still attached), and a fresh milk custard filling. The outer layer is coated with fresh honey lemon sauce and sprinkled with slightly sour and sweet dried lemon bits, creating a uniquely Taiwanese, refreshing sweet and tangy flavor. It will only be available for one and a half months during the summer. One bite offers a surprising mix of flaky crust, sweet apples, and rich, creamy custard.

The “RAPL Honey Lemon Apple Pie” is being sold globally for the first time in Taiwan at a price of NT$129 per piece. From July 6 to August 15, it will be exclusively available at RAPL Taipei Xinyi New Life A8 Store and Kaohsiung Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Rainbow Market Store.
