Hello Kitty as Station Master? New Highlights on the MRT Themed Train

Kaohsiung MRT has created a Hello Kitty themed station, not only inviting Kitty to serve as a one-day station master but also leading everyone on a ride on an exclusive train. The event is being held at O2 Yanchengpu Station on the Kaohsiung MRT Orange Line. The station decoration is currently near completion, with Kitty characters appearing on doors and walls, looking very cute.

Kaohsiung MRT previously collaborated with the famous Japanese cartoon character “Hello Kitty” in 2016, creating a “Hello Kitty themed station” at Formosa Boulevard Station, transplanting key scenes from the cartoon such as the shrine and park to the area outside the MRT station.

This time, Kaohsiung MRT has once again partnered with Hello Kitty for a cross-industry collaboration. With Kitty as the station master as the theme, Yanchengpu Station has been given a new look, integrating sights from Japan and Kaohsiung into the station, making it feel as if you’ve stepped into a cartoon scene.
