Giant pink shaved ice and Statue of Liberty make their debut—new summer hotspot for photos!

Summer is peak travel season, and various family-friendly activities and exhibitions are being launched across Taiwan. To welcome the summer crowds, Huatai Boutique City at Taoyuan OUTLET Mall has created a brand-new installation art piece in its plaza, with the most eye-catching being the “giant shaved ice” and the “peach-pink Statue of Liberty,” along with special in-store promotions.

From June 15 to September 30, Huatai Boutique City is holding the “SUMMER HOLIDAY” event. The first plaza is themed around a “Hawaiian beach vibe,” featuring ten giant shaved ice bowls larger than a person, with pop-up ice cream shops available on both sides for a limited time.

The second plaza adopts a “fashionable New York style” theme, showcasing neon installations that complement the peach-pink Statue of Liberty, as well as the newly arrived GOGOBOX American food truck and performances by street musicians. Additionally, the world’s first Movenpick claw machine has been installed, and there’s also a pop-up ice cream shop where visitors can try Taiwan’s first-ever exclusive ice cream flavor.
