Explore the High Heel Wedding Church at the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum — Easy Travel Without a Car

Easier Access to the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum: The “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Salt Town Coastal Line” in the Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan Coastal Area has added new routes, featuring popular attractions such as “Chiayi Haomeili” and the “Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum” as brand-new stops. During holidays, it has also introduced a “cruise-style train” that stops along the route, allowing visitors to explore easily without driving.

The “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Salt Town Coastal Line” departs from the Chiayi City Early-Stage Transportation Transfer Center and stops along the way at Chiayi HSR Station, the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, Xiantian Temple, Dongshi Fisherman’s Wharf, Budai Visitor Center, Haomeili, Nankunshen Daitian Temple, and Beimen Visitor Center. The entire route spans 80 kilometers, with a one-way trip taking approximately 100 minutes. Among the stops are Haomeili in Budai, known for its 3D landscape paintings, and the newly opened Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, making travel more convenient for visitors exploring the Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan area.

In addition, the “cruise-style train” operated by Chiayi Bus during holidays has been running on the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Salt Town Coastal Line” since January 1, 2016, stopping at each station for 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, taking passengers to various attractions for sightseeing and exploration.
