It’s completely normal to soak in a hot spring when it’s cold, but who would’ve thought you could find a personal hot spring in the middle of a scorching desert that’s in such high demand among tourists? In the desert near Monroe, Utah, USA, there’s a place called Mystic Hot Springs (Mystic HotSprings), where you can not only soak in the springs but also attend music festivals and enjoy stunning desert sunset views—offering all kinds of surprisingly fun experiences.

The hot spring water at Mystic Hot Springs has been flowing beneath Monroe for millions of years, emerging at around 75°C (167°F). After cooling, the temperature is adjusted to between 37–43°C (98.6–109.4°F). It’s said that the spring water has magical healing properties, and the slightly hotter bathtubs can quickly relieve muscle soreness in a short time. Around the bathtubs, you can also see interesting rock formations created by mineral deposits from the spring water. The owner of the tubs, Mike Ginsburg, also cleans them daily to ensure hygiene.

This Mystic Hot Springs site has now been expanded into a desert paradise, spanning a total area of 70 hectares. Many visitors who come here to soak in the springs also go hiking, mountain climbing, and enjoy music and other activities.
