According to the menu released by the White House, both sides shared a blend of Eastern and Western dishes. The luncheon appetizers included cocktail shrimp with avocado salad, a Southeast Asian-style green mango salad with honey-lime dressing served with fresh octopus, as well as a traditional Korean side dish: oiseon, stuffed pickled cucumbers.

Among them, the traditional Korean side dish oiseon, stuffed pickled cucumbers, is a royal court cuisine from the Joseon Dynasty, which in the early days could only be eaten by the king and nobility. It is rarely found in regular Korean restaurants and can usually only be tasted at restaurants that specifically serve royal court cuisine.

The main courses included braised beef short ribs with roasted potatoes and steamed cauliflower, as well as crispy sweet-and-sour pork, XO sauce Yangzhou fried rice, and Korean-style steamed codfish cooked with radish and Asian vegetables. For dessert, there were options such as ganache dark chocolate tart, Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream with cherry sauce, or the French pastry Saint-Tropez tart.
