According to the menu released by the White House, both sides shared an East-meets-West selection of dishes. The lunch appetizers included cocktail shrimp with avocado salad, a Southeast Asia-inspired green mango salad with honey-lime dressing paired with fresh octopus, as well as a traditional Korean side dish—stuffed cucumber oiseon.

Among them, the traditional Korean side dish stuffed cucumber oiseon is a royal cuisine from the Joseon Dynasty, originally only available to kings and nobles. It is rare in regular Korean restaurants and can typically only be found at establishments that specialize in serving royal court dishes.

The main courses featured braised beef short ribs with grilled potatoes and steamed broccoli, as well as crispy sweet-and-sour pork belly and XO sauce Yangzhou fried rice. There was also a Korean-style fish dish—steamed cod with radish and Asian vegetables. Dessert options included a ganache dark chocolate tart, Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream with cherry sauce, or the French pastry Saint-Tropez Tart.
