Just how small is the world’s smallest rose? At Rosa Rose Garden in Gukeng, Yunlin, you’ll find the tiniest roses in the world. These delicate pink mini roses bloom among the green leaves, surrounded by romantic European-style landscaping and shaded trees. Currently open to the public for free, it has become a must-visit attraction in Yunlin.

Covering an area of over 6,000 ping, Rosa Rose Garden is divided into a large indoor greenhouse garden and an outdoor rose garden. It houses about 500 varieties of roses and aromatic plants, complemented by vast green spaces, European-style architecture, artistic installations, and painted walls, making the entire garden both romantic and highly photogenic.

In the greenhouse plant area, a must-see is the world’s smallest rose. According to the guide, this variety of rose originates from Japan. Upon actually comparing it with your finger, it’s only about the size of a pinky tip — so small that even the fairy-tale Thumbelina couldn’t live in it. It’s also said that seeing it bloom can make your wishes come true, attracting many visitors who stop to take photos.
