Book and Bed Tokyo integrates the form of a bookstore into a lodging facility, allowing every traveler to seamlessly move between reading and resting, fully relaxing and enjoying life amidst the stacks.

Book and Bed Tokyo has created a new type of hotel with the concept of a “bookstore that offers lodging.” Not only is its decor very hipster-friendly, but it also attracts avid readers. Recently, Book and Bed Tokyo has chosen Shinjuku as the location for its new branch, which houses approximately 2,400 books, making it the largest bookstore-style hostel in Tokyo.

Book and Bed Tokyo has branches in Ikebukuro, Fukuoka, Asakusa, Kyoto, and other locations, with its newest Shinjuku branch opening on May 22, 2018. It aims to attract book-loving visitors from Japan and abroad, offering a novel experience of living among the books.
