No worries if you didn’t catch the most eye-catching photo exhibition earlier this year. The most photogenic spot for influencers in 2018, the “Color Gallery,” has made its way to Kaohsiung. It uses everyday colors to create diverse, lifelike scenes where you can take photos, check in on social media, and spark endless imagination about colors.

From June 9 to August 26, 2018, the “Color Gallery” will burst into color at the 4th and 5th Special Exhibition Halls of the National Science and Technology Museum. Using color as its theme, it reinterprets 15 daily life scenarios with 15 different hues, boldly challenging conventional perceptions of everyday life.

From a white bedroom in the morning, to a pink dressing room for getting ready, stopping by a yellow breakfast shop to recharge, taking a sky-blue metro to your destination, and then journeying through a purple garden, an orange ice cream parlor, a vivid betel nut stand, and a weightless moonlit space—all part of a dreamlike adventure. Paired with trendy pick-up lines and mood quotes, this unimaginably imaginative creative space will have you snapping photos non-stop.

This edition of the “Color Gallery” differs from its earlier Taipei stop by creating unique scenes specially tailored for hot southern Taiwan. Incorporating the distinctive culture of Taiwan’s betel nut stands, along with colorful elements, dazzling lights, and the playful, extravagant design of transparent display cases, it showcases a strong sense of human warmth and heartfelt hospitality.
