Every year on May 18th is International Museum Day, when countries around the world respond by offering special exhibitions and discounts. In Taiwan this year, in addition to the National Palace Museum being the first to announce free entry on International Museum Day, museums and art galleries across the country have also joined in the celebration, offering activities such as free admission and special performances. This gives you a new option to enjoy culture and the arts over the holiday, aside from outdoor excursions.
